AS9100 standards represent independent verification against recognized standards in the aerospace industry that ensure quality and consistency. They incorporate all of ISO 9001 with additional industry-specific requirements for aerospace.
Major aerospace manufacturers and suppliers worldwide require compliance and registration with AS9100 as a condition of doing business with them. Our parts can be found in new fuel-efficient aircraft such as the Airbus 320neo and many of the new Boeing 737 MAX planes.
AS9100 was released in October, 1999, by the Society of Automotive Engineers and the European Association of Aerospace Industries and has been updated several times over the years.
