9/10/2009 - Distinguishing Conax Technologies from Conax Florida

Conax Technologies LLC - previously known as Conax Buffalo Technologies - became an independent corporation in 1987 after separating operations from Conax Florida Corporation, now owned by Cobham Plc. For the past 22 years, Conax Technologies and Conax Florida have had no shared ownership even though they do have similarities with the name Conax.

On July 16th, 2009 the St. Petersburg Times reported that five federal agencies under the direction of the Defense Criminal Investigative Service raided Conax Florida Corp. for reasons currently unknown to the public.

Conax Technologies LLC is in no way connected with whatever were the reasons for the raid conducted by the federal government on Conax Florida Corp.
