For the first time in the United States, Conax Technologies exhibited its new EtchDefender™ Technology at SEMICON West. EtchDefender™ is a proprietary coating that extends the life of quartz items exposed to temperatures up to 1200˚C and Hydrochloric etch cleaning cycles. This technology will allow parts to last longer and thereby reduce the frequency of maintenance cycles required to keep tools up and running.
